Goldfinch Health Achieves Savings Validation from Validation Institute
July 29, 2022—Goldfinch Health, the industry leader in clinical navigation through surgery and recovery, announced it has received a savings ‘stamp of approval’ from the Validation Institute. Validation Institute’s mission is to provide unbiased, data-driven insights on health care solutions and services by validating performance claims made by solutions providers and educating purchasers to drive transparency in the marketplace and maximize cost-savings.
Validation Institute reviewed data on 640 patients referred into the Goldfinch Health Surgery Concierge program. Participants in the Goldfinch program received support, guidance, and advocacy. The program combines tech-enabled navigation, personal contact, and evidence-based approaches to minimize use of opioids and drive efficient, safe post-surgery recovery.
Reviewers confirmed in excess of $1.6 million in avoided costs related to faster return to work post-surgery and savings from the Goldfinch program of $7.70 for every $1 invested.
